Insurance and Financing
The cost for medical visits and cosmetic treatments at Rapaport Dermatology may vary based on the specific condition being addressed, the type of procedure, and the duration of the treatment recommended.
Many of the medical services provided can be covered by your insurance company.
To confirm that your insurance is accepted, please contact the number on the back of your insurance card. Your insurance can verify coverage using our Tax ID #20-5455069.
We are in-network with certain commercial PPO plans and Medicare (Parts A, B & C).
However, we do NOT accept the following plans:
Blue Shield plans starting with XEK, XEP, XED, XAN, XEP, CIG, TANDEM PPO. XEA Pers Platinum PPO, XEA Pers Gold PPO, or other specialty plans
Certain specialty Blue Cross plans such as Pers Gold/Silver/Platinum PPO, Blue Cross Select PPO, and possibly others
United Health Care Core plans
HMO or EPO plans
Oscar, LA Care, Medi-Cal, or Kaiser
Certain Federal insurance plans
Out-of-State Plans (that is, outside California)
Any insurance plans purchased through the healthcare marketplace
Please note this is not an exhaustive list. There are many insurance plans in the marketplace, and we are not familiar with all of them. We encourage all our patients to contact their insurance to confirm if we are in-network with your particular plan. Often, this can be accomplished through your insurance website. Under Find a Doctor, enter Dr. Vicki Rapaport as the practice owner in ZIP code 90210, or please call your insurance with the Rapaport Dermatology tax ID 20-54-55-069. Only your insurance can tell you definitively if we are in-network.
CareCredit
In the event that your procedures are not covered by your insurance plan, we offer financing through CareCredit. You can apply for CareCredit before you come to our office simply by following this link to the online application, CareCredit Application.
With CareCredit, you can get no interest if paid in full within the promotional period payment plan every time you use it on purchases made with your CareCredit credit card.
Not all promotional plans are available at all participating professionals. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional purchase is not paid in full within the promotional period or if you make a late payment. Minimum monthly payments required and may pay off purchase before end of promo period. Please review the terms and conditions on the CareCredit website to fully understand their policies.
